Pat Snoxell lit up ManawatÅ«’s stages and was a driving force behind the restoration of the Regent on Broadway. He had a 60 year involvement in theatre arts, directing more than 100 shows in the Manawatu and throughout NZ. He was a former President of the Palmerston North Operatic society and served 20 years on the Regent Trust Board. Pat passed away on the 5th of February 2021, aged 91.
Pat was passionate about developing young people and spent many years encouraging young rangatahi in the ManawatÅ« region to become involved in musical theatre and developing their talent. As part of Pat’s estate, he gifted an annual grant to help ManawatÅ« youth develop performance arts skills.
Eligible projects could include workshops, summer schools, tuition fees and master classes that focus on specific performing arts disciplines. Other projects could include opportunities to showcase your skills nationally or internationally.
